To assist in transforming green transportation as a better choice through facilitating the adoption of electric vehicle infrastructure. From “one-stop” needs assessment for municipalities, businesses and residents to implementation, Big Green Island Transportation will help make the transition to a packaged sustainable transportation energy solutions seamless and stress-free.

BIG Green Island Transportation (BGI) is an innovative, incorporated company rooted in the clean transportation sector that provides consulting, convenient design and installation services for electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure and supply equipment (EVSE). We are proudly based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Our focus is to expand multi-level EVSE infrastructure in B.C. and beyond through:
- Pre-construction consulting and planning with clients;
- Design and construction of clean transportation stations;
- EVSE installation by experienced electrical installers; and
- Maintenance and upkeep of stations.
BGI enables residential consumers, businesses, institutions and municipalities to efficiently introduce and distribute convenient plug-in charging infrastructure to meet market demand. By curbing emissions from commercial fleets and residential vehicles, we encourage the reduced reliance of fossil fuels for the social, environmental and health-related benefits to communities.
BGI is an innovative, collaborative model of a fossil-fuel free solution to our transportation challenges. Whether installing electric chargers in residential garages, commercial fleets or our all-in-one Clean Transportation Hubs for institutions or municipalities, our convenient designs encompass renewable energy powered charging that can be adapted to multiple locations and communities as the market for electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles grows.
We are currently in the process of establishing a flagship location in Vancouver, BC, with plans to expand within Vancouver and into other B.C. and Canadian communities. We are establishing partnerships with EVSE manufacturers, local green businesses, and certified installers and builders with valuable experience and a passion for the advancement of electrification in transportation.

Our Services:
- Consulting and installation services to homes and businesses with Level 1 and 2 charging infrastructure
- Convenient multi-level charging clean transportation hub stations with complete design and building of EVSE infrastructure for electric trucks, cars, e-scooters and e-bikes (Levels 1, 2 and 3 high-speed electric chargers)
- Option of rooftop to include renewable PV solar panels and/or wind turbines
- Retail space for café and public washroom incorporated in flagship and available for lease
- Educational emphasis for R&D demonstration sites for green transportation, renewable energy generation, smart metering and vehicle-to-grid (V2G) battery storage capabilities.
- On site parking and charging for e-scooter and e-bike commuters with Level 1 charging as well as Level 2 charging spaces for car sharing networks.
The architectural design will encompass passive design energy efficiency and meet LEED platinum standards in green building and water usage, and has the option to source renewable energy via rooftop PV solar panels and/or wind turbines. Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), demand response programs, and pricing will also be supported through automatic flex billing system. Our 3 charging stations are robust pre-fab designs with an inexpensive, timely and resource efficient, net zero-energy building model with very low overhead and building permitting.
